NYMFTN OpenMic: Love in the time of Quarantine

Hosted by New York Marriage and Family Therapy Network, this OpenMic: "Love in the Time of Quarantine" will be a facilitated discussion around what is emerging in our practices due to the heightened state of COVID-19: whether working with couples, sex therapy or with single individuals.

We live in a modern world, where intimate relationships, marriages and families come under a new set of pressures and expectations. Everyone is trying to find their way to fulfilling lives and satisfying intimacy, which requires exploration—a tall order in the time of quarantine.

Facilitated by Jennifer Uhrlass, these will be secure spaces where individuals can freely express their personal experiences and professional perspectives. All groups will be led through the lens of social justice, with a particular focus on anti-racist work. In order to keep these groups small, they are not able to guarantee entrance to the OpenMic Discussion to everyone who applies. It will be first come first serve.
